In all honesty though, that's pretty cool. I mean, this series is one of the most beloved across the world, and this can change a lot of people's perspective about the gay community. It could make people a lot more open minded. It's kind of a shame it might take Harry Potter to do it, but if it stops prejuidice then, hey, more power to Mrs.Rowling. [I know that theory seems a little far fetched, but Harry is REALLY popular]
awsome! lol. but why didn't she say it before. i mean i rwad the article but it seems a little odd. ah wells. ^^ xxxx
I think that she was afraid of how people would react. But then she found out that people were really into the idea and she was relieved?
Haha I think that's what she said in the article.
Y'know, I was just checking your blog before getting some sleep (damn sunlight) and here you made me have to get up and tell the kids all about this... teach me to read Buzznet when I'm trying to sleep
I wonder if the conservative/religious right will be burning their kids Harry Potter books and trying to ban them from school libraries now...

Well, why mention it if it wasn't a part of the storyline? I'm sure she's got a lot of background about ALL her characters she's kept in her head while writing that helped her think of them as well rounded individuals, but wasn't anything that ever came up in the books.
Damn. I was hoping for sweaty sex tapes between him and McGonagall.

Awesome lol, although I've never thought about his sexuality, it really adds a whole new layer to his character.. although, this completely destroys my DumbledorexMcGonagall theory..:'( it would have been such a nice pairing..
The Christians will loove this! HAHA
My mom showed this to me. I jumped up and down with joy.
haha, Harry is an attractive boy... LOL
