I have never been so shocked by a celebrity news item in years.

Pete Wentz and Ashley Simpson are having a kid. (They're engaged too. WOOO marriage!)

I don't know what's more odd: The thought of two people I've actually met having a child or how bizarrely fascinated I am with this.

I'll go with option #2.

PopCrunch reports that "Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz got engaged just before the band [played] at last Saturday’s New York’s Live Earth concert and are currently expecting a baby!"

They're having children, guys.

EDIT: Also, I can't find a program that will merge their faces so I can predict what their child will look like. Someone help me.
