John (OunceOfWentz) might be the most positive member of the Buzznet community. In the two years he's been here, he's created sincere works of art with his photography, revitalized other members of the community, and brought his own brand of philosophy to others. We caught up with him during a break from school in Chicago and learned what it was like to move to such a bustling city from small-town Colorado and exactly why he's so happy.

It's that time again, AFI fans! With Crash Love set to come out on September 29th, the suspense has set in! AFI's main site has disappeared and has been replaced by a strange flash image that is prompting fans to Tweet the name of their first single in order to reveal...well, we don't quite know yet. Additionally, eight U.S. tour dates have been made public for the band's first tour on the new record. Time to get excited!

It's a familiar story: Google searches of "pete wentz hot omg" and the like land people in our community, but Rhianna's story changes from there. She's got an impressive collection of photos, a successful blog series chronicling the artistic uniqueness of the site, and a positive attitude to boot. It's been a year (and 12 days, but who's counting?) since we first debuted the Buzznet Photo Assignment series. 49 assignments and thousands of photos later, we've made it to a milestone in our community: Assignment #50. Of course, to celebrate reaching this point and not having this experiment crash and burn into the ground, we're running a particularly ambitious assignment this week: a gallery dedicated to a day in your life. Get your cameras out! This isn't going to be easy.

So this week's photo assignment (suggested by Seb) isn't really theme-based as we've done in the past. This time around, we're sort of making it into a game. Time to get creative: your task this week is to take a photo of something, but only give us the smallest, most close-up piece of it. Then, next Wednesday, after I post all the submissions, we're going to try to guess what you took a photo of. Sound fun? Then let's dig in and get started!
