God, Please Save These Troubled States

Ah, the weekend fast approaches. In the final days before Christmas, we've got one doozy of a set of movies coming out: Sweeney Todd, Walk Hard, and the much hyped Charlie Wilson's War are released on December 21. Which will be your choice at the theaters?

It's Friday tomorrow, December 14th. What films will you be seeing this upcoming weekend?

A small grassroots campaign, Students For Concealed Carry On Campus, are lobbying to allow students to carry guns on campus to defend themselves. Do you think this is necessary? Or will it cause more problems?

Inspired by a chat Ross started today, I thought that this could become a fun weekly event for all of you who post on Buzznet. So, I want to set up a day and a time to host this AIM chat. Inspired by a thread comparing the first two videos on a board I frequent, I made it a mission (with my friend Bianca) to find the most horrific cover songs imaginable. Like all journeys I've taken like this, I end up traumatized for life. I'm sorry in advance for what you're about to experience.

So, I was pretty stoked to see 30 Days of Night a couple of weeks ago for a screening at Sony Pictures studios. (My review will be up soon!) Halo 3 came out at midnight. (I know Cephallus was waiting amongst his fellow gamers to nab one of the first copies.) Are you stoked for it's released or is it just another boring first-person fighter game?
